Earthship

Opportunities to meet with great friends and stay in an Earthship in Taos, New Mexico lets one focus on the simpler things in life. Wood for the fire, conversation rather than television, and cooking versus takeout. I decided that a simpler process should be to use my Polaroid camera for this. I’ll admit to the cliche technique, but it just feels great to have this image spit out of the camera and patiently watch to see what develops. Here’s a few. For the fourth season now I’ve had the distinct pleasure and opportunity to document the Winter X Games for the fine folks over at ESPN.com/action. It’s here where I discover, explore and push my visual style to the edge. The crew. I cannot say enough about the group of talented and passionate folks we encounter along the way. Thank you. Thank you all for letting this happen each and every year. Twice a year in fact. More specifically I have the opportunity to work closely with good friends such as Trevor Brown Jr., Mark Kohlman and Brett Wilhelm.
