2011 Winter X Games

February 4, 2011

For the fourth season now I’ve had the distinct pleasure and opportunity to document the Winter X Games for the fine folks over at ESPN.com/action. It’s here where I discover, explore and push my visual style to the edge. The crew. I cannot say enough about the group of talented and passionate folks we encounter along the way. Thank you. Thank you all for letting this happen each and every year. Twice a year in fact. More specifically I have the opportunity to work closely with good friends such as Trevor Brown Jr., Mark Kohlman and Brett Wilhelm.

DII Cross Country

December 18, 2010

Brrrrrr…it was so undeniably cold. I arrived more than an hour prior to start time to get a feel for the course and my fingers were froze through after 5 minutes. I was smiling though. Smiling simply because “bad” weather makes for great photographs. I will take frozen fingers in trade for good photos almost any day.

Colorado is known for it’s assortment of weather in the spring. Here’s one from the 28th floor of the Granite Tower as a snow storm rolls into downtown Denver.
